About the Project Banking Domain

You will be part of a strategic digital transformation initiative for a global banking client. The project focuses on building next-gen banking platforms that are secure, scalable, and customer-centric. Key areas include:

  • Digital onboarding & KYC
  • Loan origination & underwriting automation
  • Risk rating and compliance systems
  • Omnichannel customer experience
  • Microservices and micro-frontend architecture

Role Overview:

As a Senior Angular Developer, you will lead the frontend development of mission-critical banking applications. You'll collaborate with architects, product owners, and UX teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and responsive interfaces that meet the evolving needs of financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities-

Frontend Engineering:

  • Develop scalable and reusable UI components using Angular (v10+), TypeScript, and RxJS.
  • Implement state management using NgRx or similar libraries.
  • Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility compliance.

Architecture & Integration:

  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Collaborate on micro-frontend architecture and cloud-native deployments.
  • Work with backend teams to ensure seamless data flow and security.

Testing & Quality:

  • Write unit and integration tests using Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Backend Developers in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical insights.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–15 years of software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in Angular.

Proficiency in:

  • Angular (v10+), TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx
  • HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap/Material Design

  • JavaScript (ES6+)

  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and working in Agile environments.

  • Strong understanding of component lifecycle, observables, and modular architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to banking or financial services domain.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and security best practices.
