Position Overview:We are looking for a creative and skilled Social Media Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, a keen understanding of social media platforms, and the ability to translate brand messages into compelling and engaging visual content. The Social Media Designer will play a crucial role in developing and executing visually stunning campaigns and brand design that resonate with our target audience across various social media channels. Responsibilities:1.

Graphic Design & Video Editing:Create visually appealing and on-brand graphics for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Youtube. Design eye-catching and shareable images, infographics, and illustrations that convey our brand message effectively. Have a keen eye for typography and aesthetics.

Needs to be quick to grasp brand tonality and guidelines2. Content Creation:Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise and produce engaging content for social media campaigns. Develop multimedia content, such as GIFs, short videos, reels, static posts, carousels, stories and interactive elements, to enhance social media presence.

Create and edit short-form video content, specifically Instagram Reels. Is able to take initiative and come up with original and creative designs without references3. Platform Optimisation:Stay informed about the latest design trends and social media best practices to ensure content is optimised for each platform.

Adapt designs to suit the unique requirements and specifications of different social media channels. Utilise platform-native features and templates to create superior quality content for maximum organic reach.4. Brand Consistency:Maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms by adhering to established design guidelines and brand standards.

Work closely with the social media team to understand and incorporate brand messaging into visual content. Other Requirements:Ability to move swiftly across projects and comfortably manage multiple client deliverables at once. Ability to work fully remote with a flexible schedule, including half-day Saturdays.

Proactive and has the ability to grasp varied design styles and implement changesProven success in developing and implementing successful social media marketing campaigns. Strong communication skills and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. A natural storyteller with a comprehensive understanding of brand communication & marketing.

A team player with strong leadership qualities. Qualifications:1. Proven graphic design experience within Social Media2.

Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing softwares3. Motion Graphics experience is a plus 4.

Strong portfolio showcasing creative and visually appealing social media designs.5. Understanding of social media platforms and their specific design requirements.6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.7.
