Position: Chief Academic & Operating Officer (CAOO)

Location: Tirupati – Headquarters

Requirement: Must be open to regular travel to branches/franchise locations

Role Overview

The Chief Academic & Operating Officer will lead the overall academic vision, school operations, and expansion of the FuturON Group. This role demands a dynamic leader with expertise in curriculum, school management, academic quality assurance, and franchise operations. The CAOO will work closely with De-Skoolit for academic design, training, and implementation, ensuring seamless standards across all schools.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

• Lead academic strategies for FuturON Preschools, Smart Schools, and Global Icons School
• Collaborate with De-Skoolit for curriculum planning, content development, and teacher training
• Ensure implementation of academic frameworks, assessments, and learning standards
• Monitor teaching quality and implement continuous improvement systems

Operational & Administrative Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day school operations across the network
• Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs for academic & operational excellence
• Lead admissions planning, enrolment drives, branding & school productivity
• Drive franchise performance, student retention, and quality benchmarks

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor Principals, Cluster Heads & Franchise Academic/Operations Teams
• Build capability through talent development, training & performance review systems
• Align academic and operational teams to achieve organizational goals

Growth & Expansion

• Identify new markets and drive expansion across Tier 2/3/4 cities
• Lead strategic partnerships and franchise expansion initiatives
• Ensure quality compliance and brand standards across all new & existing schools

Required Experience & Skills

• 10–15 years experience in a senior academic/operations leadership role

(School Group / Preschool Chain / K12 Network / Franchise Operations preferred)

• Strong academic background with experience in curriculum, pedagogy & training
• Proven leadership in operations, school management & multi-branch handling
• Ability to drive growth, scale systems, and lead diverse teams
• Excellent communication, decision-making & problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to monitor and support branches
