Research Assistant
– Data Collection & Web Scraping

Looking for a Research Assistant (Paid position) to support ongoing projects in Information Systems, focusing on data collection, web scraping, and basic analysis.

Location: Remote (only candidates based in Bangalore)

Duration: 3 to 6month contract

Pay: Depends on your skills and experience

Responsibilities:

Collect and organize data from websites and public databases

Perform web scraping using Python (BeautifulSoup, Selenium) or scraping tools

Clean and structure data using Excel or Google Sheets

Conduct short literature reviews and summarize findings

Maintain clear documentation of data sources and progress

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of Python and Excel/Google Sheets

Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly

Organized, reliable, and able to work independently

Preferred:

Familiarity with APIs or data extraction tools

Interest in digital transformation, analytics, or IS research

This is a paid 6-month remote internship offering hands-on experience in data-driven Information Systems research. Open to candidates based in Bangalore only.
