The Opportunity
Planview is looking for a passionate DevOps engineer to join our team innovating tools for
connected work. You will be part of the AI team working closely with Data scientists, Data & MLOps
engineers, to help deploy, scale, and monitor AI services with a consistent customer experience
across the Planview product suite
What You'll Do
- Work on a team with a fast-paced start-up mindset Build and manage infrastructure to productize AI/ML features and services Develop platforms that make data across applications/application deployments available for AI/ML-driven feature prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and GA
- Develop, maintain, and operationalize service and model deployments leveraging CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Responsible for on-call support to remediate production infrastructure issues.
- Work on various aspects of operations - logging, infrastructure automation, cloud cost optimization, security, scaling, deployment, monitoring and maintenance, etc.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field 4+ years of experience in an operations role, building and managing infrastructure.
- Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions) and managing SDLC environments (Dev, Test, Staging, Prod)
- Hands-on experience with observability tools/services (AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, SumoLogic)
- Ability to manage large-scale production workloads in the public cloud (AWS)
- Practical knowledge of containers and delivery of services via containers (Docker, K8s, ECS)
- Familiarity with deploying and monitoring AWS serverless services (API Gateway, Lambda)
- Adhere to and uphold SLAs, ensuring the uptime of production services
Preferred qualifications:
- Exposure working for Data Science / AI team deploying AI models and services
- Exposure to Data Science related orchestration tools (Kubeflow, etc), and MLOps tools (AWS SageMaker Experiments, SageMaker Monitoring, MLflow, Seldon, KServe, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience deploying and monitoring data and analytics pipelines/services that efficiently scale for cloud application usage meeting SLAs for performance and resilience
- Skilled at working as part of a global, diverse workforce of high-performing individuals
- AWS Certification in the tools and technologies mentioned above
