About the Internship

We are currently seeking a
Mechanical Engineering Intern
to join our hands-on project focused on designing and building a
Go-Kart
. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate mechanical/design enthusiasts to apply their skills in a real-world automotive application and contribute meaningfully to every phase of product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the
    design and development
    of a Go-Kart, from concept to prototype
  • Create and modify
    3D models and technical drawings
    using CAD software
  • Participate in
    material selection
    ,
    component sourcing
    , and
    cost estimation
  • Work closely with the team to solve mechanical challenges in
    chassis
    ,
    suspension
    ,
    steering
    , and
    powertrain
    systems
  • Contribute to
    testing
    ,
    troubleshooting
    , and
    performance improvements
  • Document design changes, maintain design records, and assist in reporting

Requirements

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in
    Mechanical Engineering
    or a related field
  • Prior experience in
    mechanical design
    or participation in similar projects (e.g., SAE, Go-Kart competitions, robotics, etc.)
  • Proficiency in
    CAD software
    (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360)
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and materials
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Passion for automotive projects and hands-on engineering

Bonus if you have

  • Experience working on
    Go-Kart

  • Familiarity with
    FEA tools
    (ANSYS, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, etc.)
