What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and enhance core features and functionalities of a high-scale observability platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, experimenting with new technologies to continuously enhance platform capabilities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, applying optimizations to maintain stability and availability.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, fostering innovation across the engineering team.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll work on exciting challenges like:

  • Building the backend for a modern spreadsheet experience from scratch
  • Designing and maintaining infrastructure as code
  • Writing fault-tolerant, performant code that adheres to organizational SLOs

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in backend development
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Java
  • HTTP Protocols
  • Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
  • Spring Framework
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Docker
  • Message brokers
  • GitHub
  • Familiarity with performance optimization, debugging, and log management
  • Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus

Pay: ₹1,500, ₹2,700,000.00 per year
