Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Development Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our software development infrastructure. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain the software build and release process

  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and tools

  • Monitor and troubleshoot software build failures, performance issues, and other operational problems

  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures

  • Conduct software troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner

  • Manage virtualization infrastructure, including OpenStack environments

  • Work with RESTful APIs to integrate various systems and tools

  • Implement continuous integration processes to improve software quality and delivery

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful software releases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols

  • Experience with software troubleshooting and debugging techniques

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies

  • Experience with OpenStack or other cloud management platforms

  • Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI)

  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
