Job Description – Civil Site Engineer (Commercial Project)

Position: Civil Site Engineer

Industry: Construction / Commercial Projects

Location: (Kasna, Greater Noida)

Experience: (2-4 years)

Salary: (20,000-30,000)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute site activities as per drawings, specifications, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for site execution.
  • Manage civil works including shuttering, concreting, reinforcement, brickwork, plaster, finishing etc.
  • Ensure quality control at every stage of construction and implement Q.C. checklists.
  • Prepare daily site reports, DPR, WPR, material consumption reports, and progress updates.
  • Monitor project schedule and ensure work is completed within deadlines.
  • Inspect workmanship and ensure safety compliance at the site.
  • Verify material availability, coordinate with procurement for timely supply, and check material quality.
  • Handle site measurements, BOQ verification, and assist in billing work.
  • Solve on-site technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
  • Liaise with government authorities for inspections and approvals if required.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and reduce wastage.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and commercial building codes
  • Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools
  • Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of site safety norms

Qualification:

  • Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Additional certifications in Project Management/Construction Safety (preferred)
