Location: Indore express highway, Bhavda, Ahmedabad

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Costing and Estimation Engineer with experience in electrical
and control panels, LT (Low Tension), and HT (High Tension) systems. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating technical specifications, and coordinating with
various stakeholders to ensure project costing is competitive, feasible, and aligned with organizational
goals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Estimation & Costing:
 Prepare accurate and competitive costing and estimation for electrical and control panel projects
including LT/HT systems.
 Study and analyse project specifications, technical drawings, tender documents, and customer
requirements to prepare BOQ and cost sheets.
 Identify material requirements and estimate quantities based on the project scope and technical
documentation.
 Determine labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related
documents.
 Collect and analyse quotations from vendors and subcontractors for components such as switchgear,
relays, PLCs, MCCs, control panels, cables, etc.
Technical Evaluation & Proposal Preparation:
 Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals/bids in accordance with client requirements
and deadlines.
 Conduct techno-commercial comparisons and prepare bid clarifications for customer queries.
 Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and compliance of proposed
solutions.
 Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to gather latest pricing and delivery schedules.
Project Coordination:
 Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other internal departments to align estimation with
execution strategy.
 Maintain and update a database of costing information for use in future tenders and proposals.
 Monitor market trends and price movements in electrical components and services to ensure up-to-date
cost assessments.
Compliance & Documentation:
 Ensure estimates and proposals comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
 Maintain proper documentation of all estimation records, client communications, and pricing sheets for
future reference and audits.
Required Skills and Competencies:
 Strong understanding of electrical systems, especially control panels, switchgear, and LT/HT
installations.
 Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, SLDs, and panel GA diagrams.
 Hands-on experience with costing software, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
 Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
 Attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
 Effective communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:
 Prior experience in an electrical EPC company or panel manufacturing company.
 Exposure to government or industrial electrical tendering processes.
 Familiarity with standards such as IEC, IS, and relevant utility norms.
