Inviting applications for the role of Consultant – Site Reliability Engineer I

In this role, we are looking for a Junior Level Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the stability, monitoring, and automation of our production systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn modern DevOps and reliability practices while following established processes and runbooks

Responsibilities

Monitor systems using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and Datadog; respond to alerts via runbooks and escalate when needed.

Perform health checks, track uptime, manage incidents/requests/changes, and support public incident updates via StatusPage.

Contribute to defining SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, improve reliability through service reviews, and automate tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Follow security best practices, support compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA, HiTrust), and assist with audits and monitoring improvements.

Collaborate with senior SREs, participate in on-call rotations, engage in peer learning, and develop skills in cloud, Kubernetes, and automation.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

BE/B.TECH

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Hands-on or project experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing concepts.

Familiar with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or Helm.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and basic Linux, networking, and AWS cloud fundamentals.

Interest in incident management and ITSM practices, with awareness of ITIL processes considered a plus
