Financial Audits:

  • Conduct regular financial audits of SHGs to verify records, receipts, and disbursements.

  • Examine cash flow, bank statements, loan disbursement, and repayment practices.

  • Ensure that financial practices are in compliance with SHG guidelines and standards.

  • Process Audits:

  • Review SHG meetings and documentation processes.

  • Monitor savings, loan recovery, and overall group performance against established KPIs.

  • Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, including financial discrepancies and any issues of non-compliance.

  • Provide recommendations to SHGs for improved financial management practices.

  • Submit audit reports to district/project offices for review and action.

  • Capacity Building:

  • Conduct training sessions for SHG members on financial record-keeping, reporting, and auditing practices.

  • Offer guidance on maintaining accurate books of accounts, financial discipline, and documentation.

  • Compliance:

  • Ensure that SHGs follow internal control mechanisms, and compliance protocols set by regulatory authorities or the supporting organization.

  • Ensure the accuracy and authenticity of SHG financial transactions.

  • Field Visits:

  • Conduct field visits to SHG groups across different areas.

  • Engage with SHG members to resolve issues related to finance and audits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
