Cybersecurity Trainer Fulltime

Position Overview

The Cybersecurity Trainer is an expert responsible for designing, delivering, and refining advanced training programs in cybersecurity and ethical hacking.

This specialist will equip individuals and teams with the knowledge and practical skills needed to defend against evolving digital threats, respond to incidents, and maintain robust security postures across organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-impact live and virtual training sessions covering network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, incident response, risk management, compliance, and threat intelligence.
• Design and update course materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on lab exercises tailored to various learner levels and industry needs.
• Facilitate practical labs and real-world simulations to reinforce learning, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and secure coding workshops.
• Assess and evaluate participant progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical exams; provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory standards; integrate new developments into training modules to ensure relevance and compliance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship for certification exam preparation (CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, etc.).
• Collaborate with academic and corporate teams to customize curriculum for sector-specific use cases (finance, healthcare, government, etc.).
• Document learning outcomes, participant feedback, and training analytics for internal and client reporting.
• Uphold best practices in data privacy, ethical hacking, and responsible security research.Required Skills & Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles (network security, ethical hacking, incident response, compliance, or risk management); at least 2 years of proven teaching, training, or curriculum development in cybersecurity.

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of network security, penetration testing, cryptography, incident response, and vulnerability assessment.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools (Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, SIEM platforms).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).

Instructional Ability:

• Skilled at simplifying complex concepts; delivering engaging, outcome-driven training for diverse audiences.
• Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Experience with online training platforms and virtual labs.

Professional Qualities:

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
• Up-to-date awareness of emerging threats, security trends, and ethical standards.
• Effective collaborator with technical, business, and academic teams.

Preferred Additions

• Industry certifications (CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, etc.).
• Experience training in specialized domains (cloud security, DevSecOps, threat intelligence).
• Publication or contribution to open-source security projects, blogs, or research.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and security audits.

Pay: ₹80, ₹115,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 22 per week
