Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily QC laboratory activities, including sampling, testing, and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to cGXP, ISO, FSSAI, FDA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Review and approve analytical reports, COAs, specifications, and testing documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
  • Coordinate with Production, QA, and R&D departments for process improvements and validation activities.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise QC team members, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor laboratory instruments calibration, maintenance, and qualification.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on quality metrics, deviations, and trends.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit findings.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong understanding of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV, IR, etc.) and microbiological testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and quality standards (GMP, ISO, HACCP, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
