Role & responsibilities
- Inventory Management:
- Devise and implement strategies to optimize inventory control processes.
- Inspect raw material and supply levels to predict and prevent shortages.
- Ensure sufficient materials are on hand to meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage overall warehouse operations and reports within the ERP system.
- Ensure all procured materials (local or imports) are quality-certified before being accepted.
- Monitor and manage stockroom locations.
- Coordinate with quality control to ensure incoming material accuracy.
- Supplier and Production Coordination:
- Handle the delivery and logistics of materials from vendors.
- Collaborate with the production department to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Communicate with the production team to address any material discrepancies or issues.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with relevant standards, such as ISO audits.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as per established procedures.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Report on stock levels, issues, and other relevant data to upper management.
- Analyze data to forecast future material needs and optimize inventory levels.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Any Stream,.
MBA/PGDM in Material Management (Preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in Pipe (Iron & Steel) Industry.
