We are seeking a highly experienced Cypress Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Cypress, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will lead test automation strategy, design robust test frameworks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement end-to-end automation testing using Cypress with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test frameworks for web applications.
  • Integrate test automation with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define and validate test strategies.
  • Ensure scalability, reusability, and reliability of automation frameworks.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and root cause analysis for test failures.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices.
  • Ensure test coverage, reporting, and traceability for enterprise-level projects.
  • Be flexible to work overlapping US business hours when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12–15 years of professional experience in Automation Testing, with strong leadership exposure.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience in Cypress with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD integration.
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks for large-scale applications.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to API automation testing (REST, Postman, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based test environments.
  • Familiarity with performance testing concepts.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹160, ₹180,000.00 per month
