Job Description:

Lead Front-End Engineer - Specialist

Location: Bengaluru or Pune
Experience (must have): 5-10 years
Hours: Evening hours to accommodate collaboration with the US team

As a rapidly expanding B2B SaaS company, we're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior/Lead Front-End Engineer with a wealth of expertise. This pivotal role involves spearheading our migration from to , setting the standard for our new codebase, and driving front-end innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Codebase Transformation: Lead the transition of our front-end stack from to , ensuring a robust and scalable foundation.
  2. Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and oversight to our front-end team, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  3. Best Practices Implementation: Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices for development.
  4. Product Sense: Understand end-to-end user flows and create solutions that delight users and turn them into advocates.
  5. Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance of applications through best practices, coding techniques, and framework utilization.
  6. Collaborative Development: Work closely with back-end and UX teams to create end-to-end solutions that are efficient and user-centric.
  7. Strategic Planning: Navigate high ambiguity environments, making strategic decisions that align with business goals.
  8. Innovative Problem-Solving: Drive front-end innovation by exploring and implementing modern features and capabilities.

Desired Qualities and Experience:

  • Deep expertise in with a proven track record of successful front-end projects.
  • Experience in building analytics dashboards using (or other oss) would be an added plus.
  • Experience leading development teams and front-end transformations, preferably within a startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
