- Molding & Fabrication
o Carry out molding, lamination, and finishing of FRP (Fiber Reinforced
Plastic) products as per design, drawing, or instructions.
o Prepare molds, apply release agents, and lay-up FRP materials (resin,
fiberglass mat, woven roving, etc.) as required.
o Ensure proper curing, trimming, drilling, and finishing of molded components.
- Material Handling
o Handle and mix resins, catalysts, and other chemicals with accuracy and
safety.
o Ensure correct ratios and techniques are followed to maintain product strength
and durability.
- Quality Assurance
o Inspect finished products for surface finish, dimensions, and defects.
o Perform necessary touch-ups, repairs, or reinforcements.
o Follow quality standards and report deviations.
- Maintenance & Housekeeping
o Maintain cleanliness of tools, molds, and work area.
o Carry out basic maintenance of FRP equipment and tools.
- Health & Safety
o Follow all safety protocols while handling resins, catalysts, and cutting tools.
o Use PPE (gloves, masks, safety glasses, etc.) as per company standards.
o Ensure safe disposal of FRP waste and chemicals.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Knowledge of FRP molding, lamination, and finishing techniques.
Understanding of resin systems, curing times, and chemical safety.
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical fitness to handle manual fabrication work.
Work Conditions:
Workshop / site-based role, exposure to chemicals and dust.
Requires use of PPE at all times.
May involve overtime based on project deadlines.
- Fabrication & Assembly
o Fabricate, cut, bend, and assemble Mild Steel (MS) structures, tanks,
frames, and equipment as per approved drawings and specifications.
o Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Arc) and grinding to achieve required joints and
finishes.
o Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and accuracy during fabrication and erection.
- Material Handling
o Read and interpret fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and BOQs.
o Measure, mark, and cut MS sheets, pipes, channels, and angles using
appropriate tools and machines.
o Handle material safely with cranes, hoists, or manual equipment.
- Welding & Finishing
o Carry out welding works on MS components with proper electrodes and
consumables.
o Conduct surface preparation including grinding, sanding, or cleaning before
finishing.
o Apply protective coatings (primer, red oxide, epoxy, etc.) where required.
- Quality Assurance
o Inspect joints, dimensions, and finishes to meet quality standards.
o Repair defects such as cracks, porosity, or misalignment.
o Maintain records of fabricated parts and assemblies.
- Health & Safety
o Follow all safety protocols while handling welding, cutting, and heavy
materials.
o Use PPE (helmet, gloves, safety glasses, welding mask, etc.) at all times.
o Ensure safe housekeeping in the fabrication area.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Strong knowledge of MS fabrication techniques and welding methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
Skilled in operating cutting torches, grinders, and welding machines.
Good teamwork and ability to coordinate with supervisors and site engineers.
Commitment to quality and precision in work.
Work Conditions:

Exposure to welding fumes, sparks, and noise.
Requires use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.
May involve overtime and working at heights depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication & Assembly
Fabricate, cut, bend, and assemble Stainless Steel (SS) components, tanks, vessels,
piping, and structures as per drawings and specifications.
Carry out precision fabrication to maintain dimensional accuracy and required surface
finish.
Fit, align, and tack-weld parts before final welding.
- Welding & Finishing
Perform welding operations (TIG, MIG, or Argon welding) on stainless steel
materials.
Ensure clean welds without cracks, porosity, or discoloration.
Carry out polishing, buffing, or passivation for hygienic and corrosion-resistant finish,
especially for food-grade or water-treatment applications.
- Material Handling & Preparation
Interpret fabrication drawings and cutting lists.
Measure, mark, and cut SS sheets, rods, and pipes using plasma cutters, shears, or
grinders.
Handle and store SS materials properly to avoid contamination or surface damage.
- Quality Control
Inspect welds, joints, and surface finishes to meet industry and client standards.
Maintain tolerances as per design specifications.
Conduct leak tests for tanks/piping where required.
- Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety protocols during welding, grinding, and cutting.
Use PPE (welding mask, gloves, apron, safety glasses, etc.) at all times.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Expertise in SS fabrication and TIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
Knowledge of different grades of stainless steel (304, 316, etc.) and their applications.
Precision, attention to detail, and finishing skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team on site or workshop.
Work Conditions:
Workshop and site-based role.
Exposure to welding arc, heat, and metal dust.
Requires strict use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
May require overtime or site visits based on project needs.
