Job Summary:

The Store Keeper will be responsible for handling the receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, chemicals, consumables, and finished goods in the rubber manufacturing unit. The role requires accuracy in stock management, familiarity with computer systems (Excel or ERP), and good communication in English for coordination with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring proper documentation and quality checks.
  • Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials, chemicals, and finished goods.
  • Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions.
  • Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage conditions for materials.
  • Record daily stock transactions in the system (ERP or Excel).
  • Conduct periodic stock verification and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Material Issue Slips, and other store documents.
  • Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts departments for material movement updates.
  • Monitor re-order levels and assist in timely material replenishment.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the store area.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in MS Excel, data entry, and ERP / Inventory software.
  • Good English communication (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Basic understanding of material handling and stock control procedures.
  • Team-oriented and dependable.

  • Willing to learn and adapt to factory systems and documentation.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse activities.
