Accounts Executive

Job Title: Accounts Executive / Audit Executive (CMA / CA Inter / CMA Inter)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CMA / CA Inter / CMA Inter professional with practical experience in stock audit / Verification, Internal Audit, Sales bill preparation and verification, accounting, Goods and Service Tax, TDS, MIS preparation, and Excel reporting. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, accuracy in financial processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stock audits / physical verification of inventory at company warehouses, and depots.
• Review, check, and verify sales vouchers, purchase vouchers, and expense claims for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries in ERP / accounting software with the proper compliance of GST and TDS.
• Assist in the preparation of MIS reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for management decision-making.
• GST and TDS returns working and preparation of returns. Reconciliation of DATA with GSTR - 2B.
• Reconcile stock records with books of accounts and highlight discrepancies.
• Support internal audit, statutory audit, and compliance activities as required.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, internal audit working papers, and follow-up reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, stores, operations) to ensure data accuracy and smooth workflow.
• Use advanced MS Excel for data compilation, analysis, and report preparation.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial and business data.

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of stock audit / verification procedures.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and voucher processing.
• Good knowledge of Goods and Services Tax and TDS provisions.
• Hands-on experience in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS reporting).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualification & Experience

• CMA / CA Inter /CMA Inter qualified.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in audit, accounts, or MIS.
• Exposure to Tally and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
