Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Khed for a Proposal Engineer. The selected individual will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements, analyzing customer specifications, and collaborating closely with the engineering and sales teams. Responsibilities include evaluating project feasibility, creating cost estimates, understanding technical drawings, and addressing client queries. Regular coordination with internal departments and periodic reporting on proposal progress will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Technical expertise in engineering concepts, reading technical drawings, and understanding manufacturing processes
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in project cost estimation or feasibility studies
  • Proficiency in communication, including preparing client-facing proposals and addressing client queries
  • Collaboration and teamwork experience, particularly in cross-departmental environments
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as CAD programs or proposal management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience in the heat treatment or metallurgy industry is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to meet deadlines
