About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Manager eDiscovery / Document Review to lead and deliver world-class document review services across multiple projects. This role involves end-to-end project management, client engagement, team leadership, and ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing large-scale document review and eDiscovery projects, strong technical proficiency in review platforms, and the ability to guide teams with precision and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all stages of the eDiscovery and document review lifecycle, from project initiation through delivery and closure.
- Act as the primary client contact, ensuring seamless communication, transparency, and superior client experience throughout the project.
- Conduct client kick-off meetings, define workflows, allocate resources, and set clear project milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams for data processing, hosting, and production activities.
- Oversee review workflows, quality checks, privilege and relevance assessments, and deliverable accuracy.
- Manage review platforms such as Relativity or other proprietary tools, including database setup, user management, searches, batch creation, and production sets.
- Provide analytical and strategic input on search term development, data promotion, and review methodologies.
- Conduct monthly invoice reviews, validate billing accuracy, and support financial reporting for assigned projects.
- Supervise and mentor review teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, deadlines, and client standards.
- Coordinate with global teams and provide shift handovers and updates to maintain continuity of client service.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, contributing to workflow standardization and operational excellence across the eDiscovery function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in eDiscovery and Document Review, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a law firm, corporate legal department, or eDiscovery service provider.
- Strong understanding of eDiscovery processes including data collection, processing, hosting, review, and production.
- Hands-on experience with Relativity and other leading document review platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts, supporting global teams and clients as required.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Certifications in eDiscovery or document review platforms (e.g., CEDS, Relativity Certified Administrator / Review Specialist).
- Prior experience managing large-scale, multi-jurisdictional review projects.
- Exposure to litigation, compliance, and regulatory investigations.
