• Logistics & Supply ChainRole Overview : We are seeking a highly driven EDI & Integrations Consultant with a strong sense of urgency and an Inbox Zero mentality to support our logistics, supply chain, and shipping operations.

In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless data integration between trading partners, ERP/WMS/TMS systems, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Success in this role requires exceptional problem-solving, follow-through, and collaboration with internal supply chain teams, external carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors to meet critical deadlines. You will drive real-time data synchronization for order fulfillment, freight management, warehouse and invoicing-ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the entire logistics network.Key Responsibilities :

• Freight Invoices, etc.) between carriers, freight brokers, suppliers, and warehouses, quickly resolving any disruptions.
• Standards Compliance : Validate and test EDI transactions (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) to comply with industry standards and trading partner requirements, preventing errors or rejections.
• ERP/WMS/TMS Integration : Ensure accurate EDI mapping and translation of logistics workflows between ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• 3PL & Carrier Connectivity : Maintain real-time data synchronization between ERP, 3PLs, freight forwarders, and last-mile carriers for inventory visibility, shipment tracking, and order status updates.
• Freight & Inventory Automation : Automate shipment scheduling, tracking updates, and invoice reconciliation using EDI integrations and API connections with carriers and logistics service providers.
• Testing & Troubleshooting : Conduct end-to-end testing for new EDI partner onboarding and resolve data transmission issues in real time to avoid supply chain disruptions.
• Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with supply chain, warehousing, freight management, and IT teams, along with external vendors, 3PLs, and customs brokers, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
• Project Management : Lead multiple EDI/ERP/WMS integration projects, ensuring on-time execution and compliance with logistics standards.

Required Qualifications :

• Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of logistics, freight management, and supply chain operations, including order fulfillment, carrier selection, shipping, and warehousing workflows.
• ERP/WMS/TMS Expertise : Experience integrating ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle), WMS (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump), and TMS (MercuryGate, Oracle TMS, Descartes) systems with EDI & API workflows.

EDI & Data Integration :

• Expertise in ANSI X12 (850, 856, 810, 214, 210) and EDIFACT for logistics transactions.
• Proficiency in EDI communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VANs).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for real-time carrier and warehouse system integration.
• 3PL & Freight Carrier Integration : Knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL), ocean freight, and customs clearance EDI workflows.

Technical Skills :

• Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in Python, SQL for data transformation and automation.
• Data Mapping & Testing : Experience with EDI mapping, error resolution, and unit testing for logistics workflows.
• Problem-Solving Mindset : Ability to identify and resolve shipment tracking discrepancies, EDI transmission errors, and real-time inventory mismatches with urgency.
• Project Management : Proven ability to manage multiple integrations across global supply chain networks, ensuring strict compliance and on-time execution.
• Documentation & Compliance : Ability to maintain detailed EDI mapping guidelines, test cases, and troubleshooting documentation, ensuring compliance with customs, freight, and trade regulations.
• Communication & Vendor Management : Strong collaboration skills to work with internal teams, 3PLs, freight forwarders, and logistics providers across North America, Europe, and Asia.
