Position Summary:

Evernorth, a leading Health Services company, is seeking a talented and forward-thinking AI Cloud Engineer to join our Data & Analytics organization. This role blends full-stack engineering expertise with cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable systems that power intelligent applications, contributing to projects that push the boundaries of what's possible with Artificial Intelligence.

This position requires fluency in critical technologies, a hunger to learn, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. You'll work end-to-end—from understanding requirements to deploying production-ready software—while driving automation, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

· Write clean, modular, and referenceable code with a strong grasp of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

· Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable deployment of AI and cloud applications.

· Be inquisitive, analytical, and investigative, all while keeping customer in mind.

· Be a planner -time management and the ability to see around the corner is essential

· Take initiative and accountability for deliverables, with a focus on simplifying workflows and automating repetitive tasks.

· Maintain high standards of code and data quality. Monitor data pipelines proactively to detect and resolve issues before they impact business operations.

Experience Required:

· 8-11 Years of overall experience in Software development,Cloud Engineering, AI/ML Systems.

· 5+ years of expecrince in programming languages like Python, Java or similar.

· Experience with Langchain or similar AI-focused libraries

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

· Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS

· Solid understanding of database systems and ORM technologies

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Experience Desired:

· 4+ years of hands-on experience in programming language Python, Shell. (Python is preferred)

· 3+ years of REST APIs

· 3+ years of experience with any Enterprise level database (Postgres, Db2, TDV, Redshift, My SQL or any other cloud DB)

· 2+ years being part of Agile teams – Scrum or Kanban

· 1+ years in Web development frameworks like React, Angular, other based systems, Django, React-native, etc.

· Experience with GitHub/Jenkins.

· Experience with AWS /Azure cloud technologies, terraform, CloudFormation is a plus.

· Experience with data platforms such as databricks or snowflake

· Troubleshooting skills

· Strong communication skills

· Fluent in BDD and TDD development methodologies

· Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

· Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and workflows

· Contributions to open-source projects
