Position Summary:The Loader/Unloader is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and arranging materials, goods, and products within warehouses, factories, transport vehicles, or other facilities. The role ensures timely handling of shipments while maintaining safety and efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities:Load and unload goods, materials, and products from trucks, containers, or pallets.
  • Stack, arrange, and secure items in storage areas or vehicles to prevent damage.
  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment safely.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documents (bills, invoices, manifests).
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse/work area.
  • Report damaged or missing goods immediately to supervisors.
  • Follow company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors for smooth operations.
  • Qualifications and Skills:Minimum education: 8th/10th Pass (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or loading/unloading preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (as per safety guidelines).
  • Basic knowledge of handling tools/equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in shifts.
  • Work Environment:Warehouse, factory, transport yard, or loading docks.
  • May require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Shift-based work including weekends/holidays, depending on business needs.
