Job Description – Eicher Driver (Pan India Route)

Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Driver (Eicher 14ft / 17ft)

Location: Dashrath, Vadodara

Employment Type: Full-Time / Trip Commission Basis

Responsibilities:

• Drive Eicher 14ft/17ft vehicle for long-route / Pan India deliveries.
• Ensure safe and timely transportation of goods.
• Follow highway rules, state border entry norms, toll booth procedures.
• Manage LR / E-way bills / delivery challans properly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic mechanical checks (oil, tyre, brakes).
• Coordinate with transport manager / dispatch team for trip route and timing.
• Handle unloading/loading supervision (if needed).
• Maintain trip log, diesel usage & kilometer record.

Requirements:

• Valid Transport / Commercial Driving License (LMV/HTV as required).
• Minimum 2+ years experience driving Eicher / 1109 / 709 type trucks.
• Highway and long-route driving experience must (Preferably North/South routes).
• Ability to stay on route 7–12 days at a time.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
• No criminal case / accident record preferred.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
