Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts associate to manage accounting operations at Poochkoo. This role involves handling accounting entries, managing invoices, coordinating with vendors, and preparing financial reports. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant financial processes while supporting the management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including entries in Tally.
  • Generate invoices, manage billing, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with vendors/accounts and procurement partners.
  • Assist with procurement activities such as obtaining quotations, comparing prices, raising purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of supplies.
  • Support monthly reports, financial statements, and audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable taxation and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for budget tracking, monitoring expenses and cost control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and GST.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and Google Workspace.
  • Prior accounting/finance experience is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Working Days: 6 days a week, post probation 5 days a week

Compensation:

  • ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
