Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Execution
  • Create production schedules for export orders, covering cutting, stitching, finishing, etc.
  • Set targets and ensure production timelines are met.
  • Plan material requirements — raw leather, linings, hardware, trims — and ensure timely availability.
  • Quality Control & Standardization
  • Maintain quality standards for leather products — defects, finishing, size tolerances, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer specifications and export quality norms.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and quality control checklists.
  • Resource Management
  • Lead the production team — supervisors, machine operators, stitching workers, etc.
  • Monitor tools, machinery, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Workforce planning, training, and skill development.
  • Process Improvement & Cost Control
  • Optimize processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Implement best practices like Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, etc.
  • Control costs related to labor, materials, and utilities.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Design, Quality, and Procurement departments.
  • Report order status, production bottlenecks, and updates to management.
  • Participate in buyer visits and compliance audits.
  • Manage fire safety, electrical safety, and structural audit processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation — production records, QC reports, compliance logs, etc.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
