Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Azure API Management (APIM) Specialist to configure, manage, and optimize API lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure APIM, API integrations, DevOps automation, and cloud security governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Azure APIM policies, developer portals, and API lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure secure and scalable API integrations.
  • Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform).
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize API performance using Azure monitoring tools.
  • Ensure compliance with OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, and cloud security standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, policy configuration, and versioning.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, API keys, Azure Key Vault, RBAC.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
  • Scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficiency with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
