Job Description

Job Summary:

The Manager of Accounts is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the organization. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, managing the accounting team, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, finalization of accounts, , coordinating audits and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting team and supervise daily operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll, BRS.)
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts
  • Finalize accounts and coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
  • Monitor budgets and expenditures; prepare variance analysis reports
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, including TDS, GST, Income Tax, etc.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns and filings
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Provide support in financial analysis and reporting to management
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
  • Train and mentor junior accountants and staff
Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified CA or Master's degree in Accounting & Finance.
  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting/finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory regulations
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ZOHO Books)
  • Excellent Comm. skill, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
