Job Title: Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic financial decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decisions.
  • Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Oversee tax filings, regulatory reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or audit environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software, Tally and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
