Role & responsibilities

Develop and maintain Workday sheets, reports, dashboards, and metrics to support business decision-making.

  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to optimize Workday financial modules and business processes.
  • Work on integration to pull data from ERP systems.
  • Prepare and maintain workflows, versions and access controls.
  • Manage dimensions, attributes and metadata.
  • Develop and support custom reports using OfficeConnect.
  • Support Workday system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting financial models.
  • Conduct data validation and reconciliation within Workday to ensure data integrity.
  • Work on ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.
  • Provide training and support to end-users globally on Workday FP&A tools and processes.
  • Learn new features in Workday FP&A tool and extend knowledge to super users to deliver better functionality.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

  • Delivered two-three E2E FP&A projects (multi geography, multi segment environment) and currently working as FP&A support consultant.
  • Worked on at least one implementation or support project in petrochemical industry.
  • Proven experience working with Workday FP&A Models (e.g., RM/FG inventories, RM planning, Revenue, Working capital, Variable/Fixed cost, Capex/Depreciation, MIS etc.).
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration (Finance), or related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting processes, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis and visualizations like monthly review deck, monthly dashboard, reporting (working capital, balance sheet, EBITDA, variance analysis, bridges etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Workday FP&A tool.
  • Ability to overcome from any technical limitation in workday FP&A tool.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MIS processes.
  • Experience in a financial analysis.
