About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Oracle ERP Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will have experience testing Oracle ERP systems, ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of ERP implementations and upgrades.

You will play a key role in validating business processes, integrations, and customizations within Oracle ERP modules through comprehensive test planning, execution, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle ERP modules based on business requirements and functional specifications.

- Perform various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Oracle ERP implementations and enhancements.

- Validate end-to-end business processes across Oracle Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management (HCM), or other relevant modules.

- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and functional consultants to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.

- Identify, log, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle using defect tracking tools.

- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

- Work on automation of test cases where feasible, using test automation tools and frameworks.

- Ensure test environments are properly configured and data is accurate for effective testing.

- Assist in performance and load testing activities to verify system stability under varying workloads.

- Provide clear, concise, and timely status reports and test documentation to stakeholders.

- Support post-deployment validation and troubleshoot issues in production environments.

Required Qualifications :

- Proven experience in testing Oracle ERP systems (Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, or related platforms).

- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR), Procurement, SCM, HCM, or others.

- Experience with testing methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models.

- Ability to interpret functional and technical specifications to create comprehensive test cases.

- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center, TestRail).

- Experience with SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.

- Knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting is a plus.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
