Hardware Installation & Configuration
  • Install desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
  • Set up new systems with required hardware and software.
  • Assemble and upgrade hardware parts (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, etc.).
Troubleshooting & Repairs
  • Identify and fix hardware problems such as system not booting, display issues, overheating, etc.
  • Resolve basic software issues (OS errors, driver problems, slow system performance).
  • Handle onsite and remote support requests.
Network Support
  • Set up and troubleshoot LAN connections.
  • Configure routers, switches, and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Assist with IP settings, network sharing, and printer sharing.
Software Installation & Updates
  • Install Windows/Linux OS and required applications.
  • Update software, drivers, and antivirus.
  • Ensure all systems comply with security standards.
Backup & Data Security
  • Assist users with data backup and recovery.
  • Ensure antivirus and security patches are updated.
  • Follow IT security guidelines to protect company data.
IT Asset Management
  • Maintain records of IT equipment, accessories, and spares.
  • Track issued and returned hardware from employees.
  • Prepare service and maintenance logs.
User Support
  • Provide technical assistance to staff for daily IT issues.
  • Train users on basic computer operations and safe practices.
  • Maintain a quick response time for support calls.
Skills Required
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components.
  • Basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration).
  • OS installation (Windows/Linux).
  • Knowledge of antivirus and backup tools.
  • Problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualification
  • Diploma in Computer Hardware / IT
  • BCA / B.Sc IT (optional)
