Role & responsibilities

  • Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and government authorities.
  • Handle and manage all ongoing legal matters including criminal, civil, excise, and arbitration cases.
  • Draft, review, and vet legal documents, petitions, and agreements.
  • Manage cases under Section 138, Excise Act, and other relevant statutes.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external counsels, advocates, and legal consultants across various states.
  • Travel to states such as West Bengal, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan for hearings and case follow-ups.
  • Prepare legal opinions and provide strategic advice to the management.
  • Maintain updated case files and ensure timely compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; LLM will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in litigation, corporate, or excise-related matters.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Sound understanding of civil, criminal, and commercial laws.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel across India for legal proceeding.
  • Should be based at Jaipur, Jodhpur and Delhi
