Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a DGPS Surveyor, located in chennai. The role involves utilizing DGPS equipment to perform precise land surveys, collect geospatial data, and ensure the accuracy of mapping and analysis projects. Key responsibilities include planning and executing geospatial surveys, verifying field data, collaborating with the GIS team to produce maps, and maintaining survey equipment. The role also requires adherence to industry standards while working on diverse projects, including those in agriculture, mining, and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating DGPS systems and other advanced surveying equipment
  • Experience with GIS tools, geospatial data collection, and mapping techniques
  • Familiarity with spatial analysis, data visualization, and volumetric assessments
  • Strong technical skills in land surveying methods and data processing
  • Good understanding of geospatial applications in sectors such as agriculture, telecom, and infrastructure
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on-site
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience (more experience is an added advantage)
  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications or training in geospatial technologies will be an added advantage
  • Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month based on experience .
