Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer (MERN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to working with the MERN stack (MongoDB/MYSQL, , , and ). The candidate should have completed a full-time minimum 5 year course in a relevant field. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 

  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. 

  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. 

  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. 

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. 

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software. 

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that our development practices remain current. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development. 

  • At least 5 years of full-time experience working with the MERN stack. 

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. 

  • Experience with front-end development using , including state management libraries like Redux. 

  • Strong understanding of and for server-side development. 

  • Experience working with MongoDB/MySql and designing NoSQL/SQL databases. 

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSocket. 

  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT). 

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git. 

  • Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization. 

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. 

    • Knowledge of TypeScript and is a plus.
