Job description

About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This role will support day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and employee relations best practices. The HR Generalist will play a key role in recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HR databases and systems.
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving workplace concerns, and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll support and statutory compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training, development, and performance management initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support HR projects such as employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (510 years) as an HR Generalist, HR Officer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, payroll, training, performance management, labor law, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.

Preferred Skills

  • HR certification (SHRM, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience in [insert industry, e.g., IT, manufacturing, healthcare].
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
