SAT Reading & Writing Tutors
to prepare students for the SAT exam with a focus on critical reading, grammar, and writing strategies.
Role Overview
As an SAT RW Tutor, you will deliver personalized online lessons to high school students preparing for the
Digital SAT
. You will focus on building reading comprehension skills, grammar mastery, test-taking strategies, and timed practice to help students achieve their target scores.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging online SAT Reading & Writing sessions tailored to student needs.
- Teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary-in-context, and rhetorical skills.
- Provide targeted strategies for pacing, accuracy, and test-taking.
- Assign practice questions, review student work, and track progress.
- Use official SAT resources and mock exams to prepare students effectively.
- Communicate student progress to parents and CollegePass advisors.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background (Bachelor's or higher, English, Linguistics, Education preferred).
- Prior experience tutoring SAT Reading & Writing
- Familiarity with the
Digital SAT structure and question types
. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to engage students in an online learning environment.
