We are seeking a senior VB.NET MVC Developer with 5-8 years of experience to support and enhance our legacy Copy Protection systems. This role is focused on maintaining and developing applications in VB.NET and .NET Framework MVC, while contributing to modernization and participating in design discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience with VB.NET and .NET Framework MVC.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server CRUD operations.
  • Familiarity with async programming concepts (good to have).
  • Strong knowledge of GitHub version control practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot using command-line tools.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers.

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to Azure services (good to have, not mandatory).
  • Experience with application modernization approaches.
  • Ability to contribute constructively to solution design and architecture.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of application components using VB.NET and .NET Framework MVC.
  • Provide strong support for legacy systems and guide gradual modernization activities.
  • Perform SQL Server CRUD operations and maintain database logic.
  • Write and maintain high-quality code with focus on stability and maintainability.
  • Actively contribute to design and architecture discussions with architects and senior developers.
  • Ensure Agile practices are followed and progress is tracked in Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Handle L2 production support, performing root cause analysis and escalation as required.
