Quality Assurance & Control Ensure strict adherence to product quality specifications and industry standards (e.g., IS, ASTM, BIS). Implement and monitor quality control procedures at all stages of productionfrom raw material to finished goods. Conduct regular inspections and testing (mechanical, chemical, dimensional) to identify deviations. Process Improvement Identify and analyze process gaps and initiate corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to reduce rework, rejection, and wastage. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving initiatives. Documentation & Reporting Maintain and update quality records, test certificates, inspection logs, and internal audit findings. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other applicable standards. Submit periodic reports on quality metrics such as rejection rates, customer complaints, and process non-conformities. Customer Complaint Handling Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and provide timely resolutions. Coordinate with marketing and dispatch departments to ensure customer satisfaction and feedback loop closure. Training & Awareness Conduct training sessions for shop floor employees on quality standards and best practices. Promote quality awareness and a culture of continuous improvement across departments. Vendor Quality Management Evaluate and audit the quality performance of raw material and consumable suppliers. Ensure incoming material inspection is done as per specification and quality norms. Internal and External Audits Prepare and support quality audits – internal, customer, and third-party (e.g., ISO, IATF Ensure timely closure of audit observations. Statutory and Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with statutory norms and regulatory guidelines related to quality.
