Job Title: Hosting Support Engineer

Location: Kochi , Kakkanad

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: 3-5 years (in web hosting, server management, or technical support)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hosting Support Engineer to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of hosting services for our clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in server administration, website hosting environments, and troubleshooting hosting-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for hosting services including shared, VPS, dedicated, and cloud hosting.

Monitor server performance, uptime, and resolve hosting-related issues.

Manage cPanel, Plesk, WHM, and other hosting control panels.

Troubleshoot issues related to DNS, domains, email configurations, SSL, and FTP.

Perform routine server maintenance, backups, and security updates.

Assist clients with website migration, setup, and configuration.

Collaborate with the IT team for hosting infrastructure improvements.

Ensure proper documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience in web hosting support or server management.

Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows servers.

Familiarity with Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PHP, and DNS management.

Hands-on experience with control panels (cPanel, WHM, Plesk).

Basic understanding of cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work in rotational shifts if required.

Attention to detail and responsibility in handling client data.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
