Secondary Skillsets

  • Experience supporting carrier circuits
  • Support of Wireless infrastructure and technologies including Cisco and Aruba controllers and access points, and a/g/n/ac standards
  • Support of optical multiplexers including Cisco NCS 1002 and Evertz DWDM Multiplexers
  • Use of packet capture and analysis tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, and other related technologies
  • Identify, recommend and implement changes to documentation standards used in the ACC
  • Routinely mentor junior staff in areas of process, technology, execution, and other areas
  • Serve as extensions of the leadership team as directed for workload management and routine guidance
  • Partner with the NMS tools team to develop new monitoring techniques and refine existing tools and features
  • Perform or participate in complex maintenance or deployment activities
  • Create or modify documentation in response to new events and learnings
  • Routinely provide constructive feedback for improvement opportunities
  • Assist management with determining suitable training and areas of technical need within the team
  • Assist with remediating major impacting service interruptions as required
  • Background in data center technologies such as Cisco Fabric Path, Zone Security, VxLan, F5 Load Balancing, and OpenGear terminal servers
  • Experience with firewalls and how they operate, preferably Palo Alto firewalls
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies particularly networking in AWS, Azure and GCP
