Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Ruby on Rails Developer, based in Mumbai. The developer will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. Day-to-day tasks include working on back-end functionalities, integrating front-end elements, following the Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework, and developing clean, efficient code with a Test-Driven Development approach. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to project timelines will also be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Front-End Development
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks
  • Skilled in implementing Test-Driven Development practices
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively with a team
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
