About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Backend Engineer

who can architect, build, and scale robust backend systems powering high-growth consumer and fintech applications. This role involves solving complex engineering challenges, optimising database performance, improving system reliability, building secure infrastructures, and contributing to data-driven product decisions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and DevOps, and will play a key role in shaping the backend architecture and engineering roadmap.

Backend Architecture & Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using

  • Diagnose and solve production issues, memory leaks, CPU spikes, and scaling bottlenecks.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with product managers and designers to define technical requirements and improve user experience.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices.
