DevOps Automation Python Developer

We are currently looking for a DevOps Automation Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Software Configuration Management (SCM) and other DevOps related frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for existing and new services.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to improve automation of workflows, infrastructure, code testing and deployment.
  • Identify systems that can benefit from automation, monitoring and infrastructure-as-code and develop and scale solutions and services accordingly.
  • Brainstorm new solutions to continuously challenge and improve performance, reliability, security and customer experience for DevOps systems.
  • Write clean, stable and safe code in frequent increments.

Requirements/Qualifications

Essential

  • (BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech) degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-4 years professional experience as a Python Developer.
  • 2-4 years professional experience in DevOps or Systems Engineer.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience with Linux.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed professional able to work in small teams.
  • Good analytical/debugging skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Experience

  • Prior experience in Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Chef / Ansible / Puppet.
  • Prior experience in Windows and PowerShell.
