Role Overview:

We're hiring a 
Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Dimensions to lead survey programming workflows on IBM Dimensions.

You'll own survey builds, act as the subject matter expert on scripting and data flows, and collaborate with product & engineering to scale Dimensions programming into AI-powered tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate study designs and questionnaires into programmed surveys using Dimensions (or equivalent survey-platform).
  • Implement complex survey logic: branching, piping, quotas, randomization, multi-wave/longitudinal flows.
  • Test thoroughly (debug, QA) and troubleshoot user flows, skip logic, error handling.
  • Integrate surveys with data pipelines, APIs, and export systems.
  • Collaborate with research, product, and analytics teams to ensure alignment of survey instrument to study goals.
  • Maintain version control, documentation, and standards for reuse and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and survey programming.
  • Experience with Dimensions or similar survey platforms (Qualtrics, SurveyCTO, etc.).
  • Strong logic skills: branching, skip and display logic, piped text.
  • Understanding of data export formats (CSV, JSON, APIs).
  • Attention to detail and ability to QA end-to-end respondent experience.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with panels, quotas, mobile optimization.
  • Prior exposure to longitudinal or multi-wave survey designs.
  • Familiarity with statistical software (R, Python) for interfacing with survey data.
