Key Responsibilities
• Conduct advanced eye exams: refraction, visual acuity, binocular vision, visual field, ocular health assessments
• Diagnose and manage eye diseases (glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, retina issues)
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, low vision aids, and therapeutic treatments
• Pre‑ and post‑operative evaluation for surgical cases
• Supervise & mentor junior optometrists and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical records; ensure compliance with standards
• Stay updated with new technologies, practices & research
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Degree in Optometry (B.Optom / M.Optom or equivalent) with valid license/certification
• 2‑5 years clinical experience; leadership / senior role preferred
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment (slit lamp, tonometer, OCT, etc.)
• Strong clinical judgement & decision‑making
• Excellent communication & patient interaction
