Your role

We're hiring for a skilled and motivated Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure Active Directory Engineer for Bangalore location to join our Cyber Security team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD focusing on managing identities and access within Microsoft Azure. You'll work with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Microsoft Entra ID, and related tools to make sure users can securely access the resources they need—without opening the door to security risks.

• Identity and Access Setup-Configure and manage Azure Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, roles, and policies.
• Set up secure authentication methods like multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access.
• Tenant Configuration and Hardening-Review and optimize Azure tenant settings to improve security and performance. Apply best practices to reduce vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• SSO and Federation-Set up single sign-on (SSO) for cloud and on-prem apps. Integrate identity providers (IDPs) and manage federation with external partners.
• User Lifecycle Management-Automate provisioning and de-provisioning of users and groups. Make sure access changes happen quickly and securely when people join, move, or leave.
• Access Reviews and Governance-Run regular access reviews and help implement identity governance policies. Use tools like Microsoft Entra ID Governance or Azure AD Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Troubleshooting and Support-Investigate and resolve identity-related issues. Help users with login problems, access errors, and MFA setup.
• Documentation and Training-Keep clear records of configurations, policies, and changes. Train internal teams on identity best practices and tools.

Your profile

• Strong working experience with Azure identity services, IAM, or cloud security
• Knowledge of Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID, and identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
• Experience with conditional access, MFA, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation
• Understanding of identity governance and compliance requirements
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills
• A degree in IT, Computer Science, or something similar.
• Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator are a plus.
