Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Java + AWS Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract assignment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java backend development and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications.
This role requires strong technical capabilities in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, Connect), along with good problem-solving and collaboration skills. You will work with distributed teams across Hyderabad and Bangalore, contributing to high-impact projects for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
  • Develop backend services and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • Build and optimize serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
  • Integrate AWS services (EC2, S3, Connect) into application workflows.
  • Work with Kafka and SQL databases for data streaming and persistence.

Collaboration & Delivery
  • Partner with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into high-performance, scalable, and secure applications.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Support deployments and ensure CI/CD best practices are followed.
Innovation & Optimization
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cloud costs, performance, and scalability.
  • Recommend adoption of modern cloud-native tools and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and production.

Required Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 4.5+ years in Java backend development with cloud exposure.

  • Database/Streaming: SQL, Kafka
  • Additional Skills: JavaScript (for integration)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in enterprise-scale applications deployed on AWS.
  • Exposure to global client projects and distributed team environments.
  • Certifications in AWS or Java technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Hands-on knowledge of modern monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, etc.
